Job Description:

Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for a Paraplanner in Somerset to join an Independent Financial Planning practice.

This company is a leading Chartered practice, they specialise in investment and pension advice and have an expanding client base. You will prepare and follow up client projects, whilst, delivering exceptional ongoing aftercare to the clients. This role is open to someone potentially more junior if they have good experience working within Financial Planning. Duties will also include:

• Preparation of regulatory packs, issuing appointment emails/letters

• Fact finding

• Complete Research using varied tools for comparison purposes

• Presentation preparation including appropriate illustrations and fund factsheets

• Write suitability letters and recommendations

• Follow-up with process transactions to compliant standards

• New business files

• Platform management, transfers in and out

• Arrange appointments and manage online meetings and diary management for directors

• Optimisation of Intelliflo back-office software

Skills and experience required:

• Level 4 qualified or working towards

• Excellent IT, communication and organisational abilities

• Skilled financial professional with an understanding of advice software and systems

• Advantageous to have Interflow Office, FE Analytics and other platform experience
