The Company: A brilliantly run and highly reputable Chartered IFA firm based in the Hessle are of West Hull who focus individuals and businesses build, manage and protect their wealth are now looking to grow their technical team by bringing in a Qualified Paraplanner. Ideally, they are looking to attract an industry experienced, technically astute paraplanner who can supplement they already very established adviser support team. As part of a business looking to grow and with multiple offices across the Yorkshire area already, this is a superb opportunity for someone to build a career with a young, vibrant, up and coming employer.

• Office Location: Hessle
• Working Setup: Hybrid - 3-days offices, 2-days WFH
• Hours: 35hr working week inclusive of flexible working (core hours 10am-3pm)

Salary/Package: £35-42k base + attractive bonus & full company benefits

The Role: You will provide technical paraplanning support and expertise to a team of private wealth focused financial planners. Duties include:

• Writing financial planning and suitability reports and letters using the appropriate research tools; ensuring the best client outcomes.
• Ensuring that the client file including Fact Find, Adviser meeting notes and product information is fully and comprehensively complete.
• Ensuring that client files, suitability reports and letters are fully compliant and technically accurate, liaising regularly with internal and external compliance support.
• Obtaining illustrations, information and valuations from product providers as required.
• Completing and checking tax calculations where necessary.
• Ensuring business is submitted to providers, promptly, accurately and within the agreed timescales.
• Providing support and training to educate and guide other staff members where required.
• Assisting with research required by Proposition Team.
• Maintain your daily task organiser, planning your workload, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Deliver an efficient, friendly, and professional service for all clients, providers, professional partners, and visitors.

The Person: You must be QCF level 4 Diploma qualified (minimum) and have a demonstrable track record of managing paraplanning workloads for high performing, private wealth focused financial planners. You will:

• Hold 3+ years’ experience within paraplanning and technical support

• Bring a strong understanding of financial products inclusive of investments, pensions, protection and IHT planning advice
• Have experience conducting thorough product research in a whole of market capacity
• Be comfortable managing technical queries from clients as required
