As a Paraplanner you will support the delivery of the financial planning and advice process to clients by providing technical research, analysis and report writing services to Financial Advisers. This includes:
Gathering and undertaking research of financial products
Analysing and comparing technical elements of financial products to establish appropriate options
Undertake cost analysis to establish aggregated costs and charges of financial products
Undertake tax calculations and income sustainability analysis
Summarise findings in a recommendation report that sets out clearly and succinctly the reasons why advice is appropriate and suitable
Work closely with the compliance team to support the development of advice policy and process and collaboratively with the business file reviewers to ensure advice and advice records are prepared to the highest standards.
Maintain technical knowledge through a programme of Continuing Professional Development.
To be successful you will need to have paraplanning experience and have working knowledge of a wide variety of financial products. Having the level 4 diploma in regulated financial planning is not essential but they would like you to be working towards this.

Starting salary of up to £45,000
