An excellent opportunity for a Part 1 or Part 2 Architectural Assistant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in practice to be exposed to a variety of projects. You will be working alongside Architects and experienced Technologists, joining a fast-growing practice with offices based in Henley-in-Arden and Bedford.
The practice was established just over 4 years ago starting with two Directors, having since grown to a team of 8 and looking to add an additional team member to support on both residential and commercial projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to also be supported through Part 2 or Part 3 whilst raising industry knowledge, practical and technical skills within Architecture.
You will be required to:
- Prepare drawings and develop design schemes, primarily for the residential and commercial sectors.
- Assist with lead Architects and Senior Technicians in project delivery, to prepare planning and building regulations applications.
- Prepare tender documentation.
- Work on several projects at a time, ensuring office standards and high level of quality is met on each project.
- Assist with overseeing projects on-site.
- Be confident in meeting new and existing clients to both build and maintain working relationships.
Required skills and experience:
- Minimum 2 years industry experience.
- Must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Good design and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
- Well rounded skills with experience in co-ordinating and producing information for all RIBA stages.
- Excellent multi-tasker with organisational skills and the ability to problem solve in a practical manner.
- Full UK Driving licence and own transport beneficial, but not essential.
