Salary: In the region of £28,000 dependant on experience

My client is a leading architectural firm based in Essex, renowned for their innovative designs and commitment to sustainability. The practice specialise in delivering high-quality projects across a diverse range of sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The team is passionate about creating spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and environmentally responsible.

The practice are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the development of cutting-edge designs. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and eager to grow professionally in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

  • Relevant Part 1 and 2 Architectural degrees.
  • Assist senior architects and project teams in the development of design concepts and detailed drawings.
  • Prepare and present design proposals and reports.
  • Prepare and coordinate planning applications and technical drawings.
  • Participate in project meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants.
  • Strong design and technical skills with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with 3D modelling and visualiSation tools (SketchUp, Rhino, and/or 3ds Max). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for innovative design.
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning policies.
