Our client is a well-established, multi-discipline firm with offices across England. The firm has an outstanding reputation within the industry, and prides itself on proving outstanding service to clients and a fantastic place to work for their members of staff. They are a market leader within residential development, and are looking for a Part-Exchange Conveyancer to join their Plot Sales team in the Birmingham office.
Duties
- Handling a wide range of transactions including leasehold and unregistered properties bought and sold by way of part-exchange
- Handling your own caseload without supervision
- Drafting and sending out part-exchange paperwork
- Dealing with pre-contract enquiries
- Reviewing and reporting on title and searches
- Negotiating and exchanging contracts
- Dealing with completions
- Post-completion processes such as SDLT and Land Registry registrations
You
- You must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within residential conveyancing, working on part-exchange files as part of your previous roles
- Ability to view situations from the perspective of the business
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail
- Organised with time and documents
- Ability to prioritise a workload
- Proactive approach towards your work
- Good IT skills
- Discretion and professionalism
