Part Qualified Accountant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Qualified Accountant to work for an

Established freight company near Heathrow.

Monday to Friday.

We are looking for either Part Qualified ACCA, or AAT Qualified if you

have worked in the freight forwarding industry advantage, and is knowledge of Cargo

Role Involves:

• Customerprofitabilityreports(Turnoverreports)
• NetAssets report
• Monthlyvarianceanalysis-actualvbudget
• KPIreporting-volumes,AP/ARandbillingteam performance
• Overheadvarianceanalysis / bought ledger / posting invoices.
• Reviewofjobcosting(marginanalysis,analysisbycharge code)
• ReviewofAccountsPayableandReceivableledgers
• Intercompanyreconciliationsandqueriesreview-UKv/sOverseas (USA, HK,CHINA,etc.)
• Defermentaccountreconciliation(Duty&Vatreconciliation)
• Intercompanybalancesheetreconciliation-UKv/sOverseas.
• WorkwithFinancialcontrolleronmonthendclosure
• Auditpackagepreparationandotherspecifictasks/projectsandAd-hocanalysis.
• MonthlyFinancialreports(ByShipper,bychargeableweight&bydepartment)
• Balancesheetanalysisandreconciliations
• Accrualsandprepayment,monthlyjournalpreparation&posting.
• Supplierstatementsreconciliation-speciallyshippinglines.
• Paymentprocessing
• Workwith MDonmonthendclosure
• Monthly AP/AR report reconciliation
• Monthly bank reconciliation
• Quarterly VAT return

Experience:

• 3 years + Experience of Part Qualified Accountant.
• Either ACCA or AAT Qualified.
• Freight Forwarding experience advantage.
• Cargo Wise experience def advantage.
• Good IT, communication skills.
• Team Player.
