Part-Time Accounts Assistant / Senior (Circa 20 hours)

Do you have a passion for accuracy and a keen eye for detail? Are you looking for a flexible part-time role in a supportive accounting practice?

Due to growth, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Accounts Assistant / Senior to join our team. This part-time position offers the perfect opportunity for a skilled individual to leverage their expertise while maintaining a flexible work schedule.

What you'll do:

  • Prepare and finalise statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
  • Assist with bookkeeping and VAT return submissions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and answer queries
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure efficient workflow

What you'll bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in an accounting practice
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
