Hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week
On-call: 1 in 4 weeks, £100/week when on-call
The Role:
As a Casework Coordinator, you will support clients in maintaining accommodation to high standards of health and safety. You'll work closely with clients to manage personal finances, assisting with tasks like benefit claims and budgeting. Accurate and timely records of all client interactions must be kept, and you'll support the Service Manager and Service Development Manager in reporting to partners and funders when necessary.
Main Duties:
Client Support: Build positive and effective working relationships with clients, providing them with the support they need to maintain their accommodation and manage their finances.
External Collaboration: Develop and maintain relationships with relevant external agencies, including criminal justice services, to support clients effectively.
Needs/Risk Assessment: Complete needs assessments and risk assessments for clients, leading to the creation of support plans tailored to individual needs to reduce re-offending.
Rostered Working: Participate in rostered systems, which may include weekend and evening shifts as required.
Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks within the scope of the post as directed by the Service Manager or other senior staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required. Business insurance will be needed for roles involving travel.
Experience with Complex Needs: Previous experience working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviour.
Experience with Socially Excluded Individuals: Experience working with homeless and/or other socially excluded people.
