Part-Time Cost Accountant

Accountable Recruitment are currently working with a Wirral based company that are market-leaders within their industry as they recruit a newly created Cost Accountant position to join the Finance Team.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop under a supportive mentor and in within a large business, continuing to grow rapidly across the country through acquisition.

25 hours per week

Up to £40,000 FTE

Wirral based office

25 days AL + Bank holidays

Key duties:

• Produce costings for products and review with Finance Manager
• Analyse and interpret costs and accounting records
• Expense, budget and supply chain report production
• Supporting with month end duties
• Building and maintaining relations with managers (Supply chain, production, etc)
• Management and development of cost-control systems
• Working with key SLT members to recommend and implement ways of cost-saving
• Budget setting

Experience needed:

• Experience working in a Finance team
• Exposure to costings / analysis
• Industry such as FMCG - Retail - Logistics ideal
• Studying, QBE or keen to study
• Sage and/or SAP skills ideal
