We are looking for someone who has experience with compliance at a management level. The ideal candidate will understand current data privacy legislation and execute strategies to follow best practices. If you are confident with dealing with complaints and solving privacy issues, then please read on.

Job Title: Data Privacy Specialist

Type: Hybrid, Part-time (20 - 30 hours per week)

Salary: Circa £58,000 (full time equivalent)

Responsibilities:

  • Advise on data privacy issues
  • Plan and execute data privacy strategies
  • Monitor implementation of data privacy compliance
  • Stay on top of data privacy legislation
  • Coordinate training on data privacy matters for all relevant individuals
  • Ensure the business follows best practice in the topic of data privacy
  • Assist in the investigation and implementation of solutions for complaints and privacy breaches
  • Prepare reports on data privacy compliance

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a compliance role
  • Experience in management
  • Excellent organisation
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and shows initiative
  • Ability to deal with complaints calmly
  • Strong communication skills
