Part-Time Housekeeper

Part-time Housekeeper - West Byfleet. £20.00 - £25.00 / hour

This lovely family of three are looking for a part-time Housekeeper / Home Cook - ideally Monday to Friday 5 hours / day. They are flexible on the hours that you work and could also potentially consider 3 longer days / week. You will need your own car as there will be driving errands. The main elements of this Housekeeper / Home Cook position include:-

Managing the Housekeeping schedule

Management of the Gardener and window cleaner who comes monthly

Dealing with tradespeople and keeping note of any minor repairs that need doing, and sourcing handyman/ tradespeople, etc. for the task.

Ordering groceries, keeping the pantry stocked, and putting away food shops if home delivered.

Ensuring the refrigerators and freezers are clean and food rotation is managed.

Wardrobe management including laundering of luxury fabrics. At times this may require packing and unpacking of suitcases.

Laundry management, including hand washing, ironing, sorting, and preparing items for dry cleaning, special care of luxury fabrics; tailoring and mending as required; cleaning boots and shining shoes.

Menu planning and preparation of nutritious healthy meals and snacks according to specific dietary preferences and requirements. Batch cooking as required.

Running errands; posting packages; and other tasks as required.
