Our client is a successful and well established Facilities Management company and they are currently looking to add an In House Accountant/Bookkeeper to the team

This role comprises a range of duties providing Accounting/Bookkeeping support to the business.

You will also oversee and cover the payroll function which is performed by a payroll clerk., · General - Accounts/Bookkeeping, data-entry, recording and summarising transactions or key financial data to maintain financial records, using journals, ledgers, spreadsheets and computing software to ensure entries are up to date ·

Management Accounts - preparation of monthly and annual processing of accounts, records, and reports ·

Sales Ledger - Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents ·

Purchase Ledger - Raise purchase orders, process outgoing payments. Management of supplier files, records and reports ·

Payroll - Manage, support and cover payroll preparation, processing, reporting and payment as required ·

Cashflow - preparation of weekly and monthly cashflow, forecasting, receipts, records, and reports ·

Use of accounts management spreadsheets databases or using specialised accounting software e.g. Sage Accounts · Banking - Receive, record and bank cash, cheques, and vouchers · Credit control - and debt management action as appropriate, chasing discrepancies or late payments ·

Flexible on hours but circa 14 hours per week office based in Horsham

£40000 fte plus benefits
