Our client operates multiple outstanding nurseries in Leeds, catering to children aged 0-5 years. As a creative Early Years practitioner, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in the EYFS curriculum while collaborating with professionals in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop creative and age-appropriate activities to support children's development
  • Conduct accurate observations to document each child's progress
  • Assist with children's hygiene routines and mealtimes
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment
  • Uphold safeguarding protocols and maintain daily diary records
  • Be an enthusiastic and proactive team member
  • Support colleagues with key worker responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Randstad
  • Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 is essential
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanour
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Solid knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
Desired (but not essential):
  • Safeguarding training
  • Paediatric first aid training
  • Food and hygiene training
  • Health and safety training
