Pertemps are recruiting for a Payroll Coordinator to join our clients growing and friendly company in a stand-alone role at their Office in Tamworth. Working as an integral member of the team, you will produce all aspects of the monthly payroll and associated tasks.
Main duties:
- To produce and process the complex payroll each month.
- To process end to end payroll and complete the process on the time and attendance system.
- To assess and process workplace pension each month, then submit data to the pension provider.
- To submit relevant payroll data to HMRC and other relevant bodies on time each month.
- To update time and attendance system balances with the overtime paid each month.
- Produce ad-hoc payroll related administration.
- Produce end-of-month data for Group & Local Management Team.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in using Sage 50 Payroll
- Experience in using a time and attendance system.
- Preferably 3 years’ experience working in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of payroll processes from start to finish.
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with others.
- Reliability and integrity are key.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Ensuring accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
