I'm looking for a Part Time Payroll Officer to join a well-established business in Bury. This role offers the flexibility to fit around personal commitments, making it ideal for someone looking to balance work and home life.

Hours: 2-3 days per week (flexible to accommodate different circumstances, such as the school run)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll for approximately 120 employees.
  • Maintain and manage payroll records.
  • Handle employee queries related to payroll.
  • Perform basic Excel data manipulation for payroll reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant payroll regulations and internal policies.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to handle data accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


Salary Range & Benefits
The salary for this role is around £30,000 - £35,000 FTE (pro rata, depending on experience).
