JSS Finance are excited to be partnering with a Retail business in Leicester who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a part time basis (25 hours per week).

As the Finance Assistant you will be working alongside the Finance Manager to ensure invoices are processed accurately and payment runs are carried out on time.

This is an exciting time to join a growing business who are all about employee development and progression. This a great opportunity for someone who needs flexible/part time hours due to school runs or other commitments.

As the Finance Assistant you will be offered an annual salary of £25,000 - £28,000 (full time equivalent) depending on experience plus a number of fantastic benefits including study support, staff discounts and more.

Key responsibilities:

  • Match, batch and code invoices
  • Process supplier payments
  • Review and manage purchase orders
  • Process staff expenses
  • Reconcile company credit cards
  • Liaise with supplier and manage with invoice queries

Key requirements:

  • At least 1 years' experience working within a similar finance based role
  • Proficient Excel skills
  • Ability to work well and quickly under pressure
  • Self-motivated, driven, strong attention to detail with a flexible approach
  • Team player, works well as part of a team but can proactively self-manage tasks
