The professional services division at SF Recruitment are seeking a Temporary Purchasing Assistant to support their busy Procurement Team. Renowned for their commitment to excellence and innovation, our client offers a dynamic work environment and opportunities for professional growth. As a Temporary Purchasing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential support to the procurement function of our client's business. Working closely with the Procurement Team, you will assist in sourcing suppliers, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Procurement Team to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and contracts.
- Liaise with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and coordinate deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and documentation.
- Support the Procurement Manager in supplier relationship management activities.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to procurement processes.
- Provide administrative support to the Procurement Team as needed.

Requirements:
- Strong administration skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
