LTA / Reed Education is looking for a dedicated Site Supervisor for a primary school in Accrington. This part-time role is crucial for ensuring the school site is ready and presentable each day. The position starts in September and has the potential to become permanent. A DBS check will be required for successful applicants.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Ensure the school site is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Perform general maintenance tasks and oversee the upkeep of the property.
- Prioritise workload to manage tasks effectively throughout the day.
- Work flexibly, either early in the morning or after school, to prepare the site.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the school by being well-organised and proactive.
- Develop good relationships with children and adults within the school community.
- Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and health & safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Recent experience working in a school environment or similar setting.
- Well-organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Hardworking, flexible, and able to use initiative.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and property maintenance.
- Ability to develop good relationships with both children and adults.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
