Part Time Year 4 Teacher

Your new school
An outstanding single form entry school in Dudley requires a year 4 teacher to join them in September on a long-term basis. The school creates a safe and nurturing environment for learning which enables all children to achieve essential skills for life. The school is very proud of their artwork collection and often have the children visit the masterpieces on display. They also have two attractive playgrounds for the children to enjoy.

Your new role
This is a part-time position, working on Thursdays and Fridays. The majority of the planning is provided; it is an 80/20 split where you will need to tweak the planning depending on the class and, as this is a job share, a handover will be left for you. The school has an internal coach that will be available as and when you need it and every class has TA support. On Fridays, the staff have a morning briefing before school starts where they discuss events etc. happening the following week.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• A valid DBS Check (or willing to apply for one)
• 2 years' worth of child-related references
• Experience working as a Primary School Teacher.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different school environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be hard-working and a team player
