Parts Administrator

Salary negotiable DOE + Excellent benefits!

Location – Maidenhead (need a vehicle due to location)

Hours - Monday to Friday - 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

Start date – ASAP

My client, based in Maidenhead, are seeking a dedicated Parts/Stores Person to join their team at their UK office. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administration background in plant machinery or similar industries, who thrives in a challenging environment and possesses excellent communication and IT skills.

Duties include:

  • Ordering parts, receiving deliveries, checking invoices, and inputting them onto our system.
  • Managing stock allocation, including goods in/out, and updating stock on the CRM System.
  • Picking, packing, and dispatching parts to customers and service vans.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy parts storage area with good organisational skills.
  • Taking overall accountability for the successful running of the parts department, working closely with the service office, technicians, and customers.
  • Processing returns to suppliers, ensuring appropriate refunds are received, and chasing up credit notes.
  • Maintaining stock levels of all parts and workshop consumables to the required levels.
  • Building good rapport with suppliers and customers.
  • Supporting the service department and covering for holidays or sickness when required.
  • Performing other administrative duties as needed.

Essential criteria:

  • Strong administration background, preferably in machinery or a similar industry.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and conscientiousness.
  • Strong communication and IT skills.
  • Good general level of education, including English, Maths, and IT.
  • Full, clean UK Driver’s Licence.
