Location - Field Based, Kent & Sussex

Salary - Up to £40,000 per annum DOE

Benefits - Sick pay, pension scheme and 30 days holiday(including bank holidays)

A prominent dealership in Kent is looking for an experienced Parts Sales Advisor to join their team.

Responsibilities for the role of Parts Sales Advisor

• Service a group of targeted customers, undertaking regular visits (e.g. on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis)
• Sourcing new business
• Following up on leads/introductions from the rest of the business
• Assessing if credit accounts will be viable for the business and beneficial to the customer
• Setting up new accounts
• Selling and promoting parts business, maximising potential sales
• Manage customer expectations on price and discounts
• Advising the customer on imprest stock, stock management and stock profiles in line with customer demand
• Taking orders and submitting them via phone or email
• Take reasonable care for health, safety and the environment of self and others who may be affected by work activities, as well as cooperate on health and safety issues
• Any other reasonable tasks as requested

Skills and specifications for the role of Parts Sales Advisor

• Previous experience in commercial vehicle parts and sales would be highly useful
• Must have business-to-business sales experience
• A clean valid driving licence is required for the role
• Will need to be computer literate for order reporting and general role admin etc
• Candidate will need to have a proven track record in sales of a field-based nature
• Will need flexible on hours as travel client schedules will dictate the needs of the business
• Must have a proven track record in delivering a top-class customer experience journey
• Ability to use own initiative in important to the role
• Literacy and numeracy skills are a requirement
• Attention to detail is important, and thus candidates will need a good eye
• Problem-solving skills are highly desirable
