A talented Pastry Chef is required for this 4 star luxury Hotel based in central Manchester.
As Head Pastry Chef your role will involve preparing and cooking all pastry for the 2 on site restaurants and various meeting and events spaces – desserts, tartlet cases, savoury pastry products afternoon teas and more. You work closely with the Exec Chef to ensure the highest of standards are met. Excellent chance to be part of something special and be involved from the very beginning!
JOB DESCRIPTION
As Head Pastry Chef you will be in charge of the Pastry department so your role will include menu design and development plus staff training. Your role will involve producing all Pastry products for all areas of the Hotel - Restaurant, Conference and Banquet, Brasserie and afternoon teas. You will be in charge of a team of 4 so good man management skills are required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Must have experience in a fresh produce, fast paced environment The successful candidate must have the broad level of skills and knowledge that allows you to be able to work on all sections without supervision. Experience in a similar establishment is essential. A commitment and passion for food is certainly required.
