Job Title: Patent Administrator
Location: Cambridge Office (2 days a week in office, 3 from home)
Hours: 35 hours/week (Mon-Fri, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm)
Role Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a prestigous firm in Cambrdige as a Patent Administrator - a key position requiring diligence, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills. You'll work closely with fee earners and support staff, maintaining professionalism and fostering good client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Correspondence Management: Draft and manage letters, emails, and documents.
- Formalities Management: Handle patent applications, deadlines, and document collation.
- Client Interaction: Update client databases, monitor deadlines, and prepare reports.
- Invoicing: Prepare and adjust invoices, manage WIP, and liaise with Accounts.
- Administrative Support: Arrange meetings, manage caseloads, and maintain CRM systems.
Systems Used:
- Inprotech
- EPO Filing System
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Client Record Management and Document Management Systems
Skills Required:
- Excellent command of English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- IP experience - 3-4 year + Passed CIPA qualification
