Are you a seasoned Patent Secretary with 6 + years of solid experience in patent support? We are seeking a highly organised, knowledgeable, and efficient individual to join our client’s dynamic Life Sciences group. This role involves providing direct support to a Partner, two Senior Associates, and one or more Technical Assistants in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment. 

Our client is a leading Intellectual Property firm renowned for its innovative approach and excellence in the IP sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Fee Earners' caseloads and deadlines alongside handling incoming/outgoing client-related emails
  • Drafting standard correspondence, new applications, and response uploads
  • Managing Work in Progress (WIP) charges
  • Preparing all billing requirements
  • Autonomously handling any ad-hoc day-to-day requirements
  • Experience with EP, GB and PCT applications

Requirements:

  • CIPA qualification is highly desirable
  • 6 years+ experience in a similar position
  • High level of organisation
  • Strong communication skills

While a CIPA IP Paralegal (IPPC) qualification is an advantage, some experience with e-billing will also be beneficial.
