Job Title: Pathway Coordinator Administrator

Location: Alder Hey Hospital, Eaton Road, Liverpool, L12 2AP

Hours: Candidates can work anywhere between 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week at their preference

Trust Location: Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Communicate professionally and effectively with patients/parents/carers, the general public and all internal and external agencies both verbally and

non-verbally in a timely manner

  • Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, team briefs etc.

Listing patients and filling clinics

  • Assist the management team in addressing any complaints within the

agreed timescales which may have been received within the Division

  • Exercise judgement and initiative in order to manage the workload

effectively and efficiently, taking appropriate action to resolve any issues,

liaising with appropriate personnel and seeking guidance from the Line

Manager when required.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Previous NHS experience
  • Knowledge of Aldercare
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams
  • Minute taking experience (desirable)
  • Strong admin and customer service skills
