A Payables Officer is required to join a growing Accounting & Finance department. This role will involve managing financial transactions, ensuring high levels of accuracy, and maintaining strong relationships with external suppliers.

Description

  • Manage the day-to-day financial transactions of the company
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices, maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with the company's financial policies and regulations
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Profile

It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and empathy with the values and principles of the organisation

* A good level of general knowledge and awareness of topical financial issues.

* Proven understanding of accounting principles and concepts (e.g. accounting for payables.

* General Knowledge of Charities and services provided.
