Start your career journey with a role that's both rewarding and impactful! Join us as a Payment Support Apprentice, where you'll play a vital role in helping customers manage their rent arrears and charges.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop essential skills in communication, accuracy, and teamwork within a supportive environment dedicated to your growth.

Your journey as an Apprentice:

You'll be on a 21-month Fixed Term Contract where you'll learn vital professional skills while undertaking your fully funded Apprenticeship.

Qualification - Level 3 Housing & Property Management

Duration - 21 months

Provider - Learning Curve Group

Location - Blend of office and remote working

Learning time - 6hrs per week off the job learning (1 day a week) with the

training provider.

The remainder of your week will be spent in the role either at our stylish Milton Keynes office (2 days minimum) or working from home once you’ve settled into the role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist customers with inquiries about rent arrears and charges, providing clear and supportive guidance.

  • Proactively reach out to customers to discuss payment options and set up manageable plans.

  • Refer customers to appropriate support services to ensure they receive comprehensive assistance.

  • Process refunds and ensure accurate updates to customer records.

  • Gain knowledge about benefits and entitlements to offer informed advice to customers.

  • Follow established policies and procedures while learning from experienced colleagues.

What we’re looking for:

Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in using IT systems effectively.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate work.

Previous experience in a customer-facing role

Ability to thrive under deadlines and manage priorities effectively.

Proactive approach to learning and a desire to continuously improve your skills.

You’ll need to have GCSE grade A-C (or 4-9 points) in both English and Maths. If you don’t have these don’t worry - we will support you to complete Level 2 English and Maths prior to your end-point assessment.
