Payroll Accountant
Role: Payroll Accountant
Location: London
Salary: £50-60k + benefits & share options
This is an innovative SaaS business based in central London. They provide an excellent platform offering a range of various services globally across transportation.
Due to some exciting changes internally, they are now looking to hire an experienced Payroll Accountant to play a key part in their global finance team.
ROLE
The Payroll Accountant for this well-established SaaS business based in London, will take on a number of key payroll duties for the UK whilst supporting EMEA processing. This will include:
- Working with external payroll partner, owning the payroll process from start to finish
- Supporting payroll processes across various subsidiaries including Netherlands, France and Belgium.
- Understand tax requirements for any new jurisdictions and any other changes that may impact payroll.
- Lead aspects of the monthly financial reporting such as preparation of journals and reconciling general ledger.
- Design and assist with any new implementations to improve the payroll process.
- Perform regular audits of the payroll data to ensure accuracy of employee payment information.
- Be the main point of contact for any employee queries relation to pay.
- Exercise a strict degree of confidentiality regarding pay information and privacy initiatives.
PROFILE
The ideal profile for this senior Payroll Accountant role, should have the following attributes:
- 4-5+ years of experience within similar specialist Payroll position.
- Strong technical understanding of accounting principles (journals and general ledger).
- Experience with EMEA Payroll would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Experience with Workday would be advantageous.
