The role...
The main purpose of the role will be to assist with all Payroll Admin duties within the team, some of which will include:
- Calculating and processing employee wages, including regular payments, overtime and adjustment
- Maintain up to date and accurate payroll records, including timesheets, tax information and employee data
- Ensure all information is compliant inline with HMRC regulations
- Resolving issues, payroll discrepancies or payroll related queries
- Working closely with the HR Team to manage employee data and ensure the smooth running of payroll
- Preparing and submission of Payroll reports as required.
- Some preparation of purchase ledger
What we are looking for?
This position is a temp role to assist during a busy time for the company, therefore we are looking for someone with previous experience within Payroll who can be available for an immediate start. Some of the key things we would be looking for are:
- Payroll experience - 12 months +
- Experience of processing high volumes of data within Payroll
- Strong IT skills proficient in MS Excel
- Experience of working with SAGE would be an advantage
- Must be able to work on own initiative within a busy team environment to meet specific deadlines
