Payroll Administrator
Simpson Judge is supporting a business based in North Manchester, who are looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator.
This is a permanent position, working on site 5 days a week, with flexibility in start and finish times. Will consider part time for those wanting to work 30 hours across 4 days. You will need to be available immediately or on a shorts notice.
Salary: up to £30,000
Roles/ Responsibilities
- Process payroll weekly and monthly payroll - timesheets and PAYE
- Provide administrative services for pensions
- Liaison with internal and external contacts
- Process all new starters, leavers, absence, statutory leave and pay
- Prepare journals for submission to finance
- Process and reconcile all fixed pay instructions e.g. basic salary changes, pay uplifts etc
- Other ad hoc duties to assist the constant improvement of the finance department
Skills/ Experience
- CIPP qualified is an advantage but not required
- Understanding of UK Payroll
- Sage Payroll is ideal
- Great attention to detail
