Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

The Client:

Our client is a reputable accountancy firm, providing a complete spectrum of business and advisory services to its clientele.

The Role:

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be handling payroll clients from start to finish, including various pension schemes.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing BACs payments for clients.
  • Communicating with HM Revenue & Customs.
  • Liaising with managers, team members, and clients for payroll inquiries and reporting.
  • Addressing employee queries and maintaining client relationships.
  • Maintaining department files, records, and databases.
  • Handling ad hoc queries and tasks on spreadsheets/documents for analysis.
  • Assisting managers and team members with organisational tasks.
  • Providing recommendations to enhance client payroll procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Math and English GCSE A-C or equivalent.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • CIPP qualifications would be beneficial.
