I'm looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our client's business in Lymm on an 11 month contract. Excellent benefits. Great team. Secure business.

About the Job
This varied and interesting Payroll Administrator role will see you processing weekly payrolls and expenses. You will be setting up new starters and processing wages, including holiday pay, sick pay, and maternity pay. You will also manage the monthly expenses.

About the Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have solid Payroll Administrator experience. You will have strong system skills, including Excel. You will be able to work with speed and accuracy. You will have a strong work ethic, be organised and methodical, and be able to multitask. You will be personable and a great team player.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
  • Set up and maintain payroll records for new starters, leavers, and existing employees.
  • Calculate and process statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP.
  • Handle payroll queries from employees and management.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute payslips and P45s.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes, including P60s and P11Ds.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and documentation.
  • Support the implementation of payroll system upgrades and improvements.


Salary Range & Benefits
The salary for this role is circa £26,000-£28,000. The company also offers excellent benefits, including onsite parking.
