Reed Brighton is thrilled to be working with a holiday specialist in East Sussex who is in search of a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join their team. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payments while maintaining proactive communication with individuals to validate monthly payroll.

This is a full-time, hybrid position Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run daily payroll simulations, reporting errors, and ensuring prompt rectification.
  • Input court orders accurately, maintain a tracker for quick reference during queries.
  • Assist with pension uploads and ensure updated members' information.
  • Provide advice on statutory payments like SSP, SMP, and SPP.
  • Respond to queries promptly, conducting thorough research to offer accurate advice.
  • Support in running reports, conducting analysis, and providing updated information.
  • Assist with company benefits administration and annual P11Ds.
  • Stay informed about evolving employment legislation and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, showcasing accurate payroll duties execution.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills for both independent and collaborative work.
  • Customer service-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Detail-oriented with a numerate approach and proficient in Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP Payroll is a plus, with training provided.
  • Understanding of statutory leave, tax, NI regulations, and calculations.
