This business is in need of a Payroll Administrator who doesn't just process numbers but ensures people get paid accurately and on time, every time. You'll be the person behind the scenes keeping the wheels turning, making sure payroll runs smoothly, HR data stays clean, and the finance team gets the reports they need.

What are you getting paid for?

  • Running end-to-end payroll like a pro. That means adding new joiners, processing leavers, handling holiday pay, overtime, absence, and maternity.
  • Ensuring they stay on the right side of HMRC-handling RTI submissions, pension auto-enrolment, and third-party payments.
  • Being the go-to person for payroll queries. People will come to you when something doesn't add up, and you'll figure it out.
  • Keeping HR and payroll systems accurate and up to date-because messy data is nobody's friend.
  • Creating reports that actually mean something, helping the business understand things like employee turnover, absence trends, and compliance rates.
  • Supporting Learning & Development, ensuring new starters get the right training and compliance stays on track.

What do they need?

  • Someone who knows their way around payroll. You've processed payroll from start to finish and understand UK payroll legislation.
  • Detail-obsessed. You spot errors before they become problems.
  • Excel-savvy. You can take long reports and turn them into something meaningful.
  • A problem solver. Payroll can get messy, but you love untangling the knots.
  • Someone who gets the bigger picture. This isn't just about pressing buttons-it's about keeping the business running.
