We are working with an exciting Financial Services client based in London who are looking for an experienced Payroll professional to join their team on an initial temp basis with a possible view to go permanent.

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has a strong eye for detail, confident in their approach and handling queries and keen to learn and expand their knowledge as there is a huge opportunity to gain international experience.

Some of the main accountabilities include:

  • Support the international payroll team with daily tasks and year-end activities, such as balancing reports, communicating with vendors, and submitting input requests. Work on ad hoc tasks and assist other team members to meets deliverables
  • Perform payroll transactions such as data entry, mass uploads, and payroll processing tasks
  • Review, analyze, and reconcile payroll related data in accordance with established timelines, standards, and procedures. Calculate retroactive data as required
  • Handle complex and/or sensitive payroll requests and issues by providing exceptional customer service to both the customer and its employees
  • Ensuring the employees are receiving their payments on schedule by working on tight deadlines and effectively managing your time to meet with our SLA's
  • Use great attention to detail to identify any payment or data errors
  • Manage and support the day-to-day payroll processes, organize, and submit payroll entries to ensure error-free processing aligned to statutory compliance and internal policies
