Macildowie is excited to be working in partnership with a leading company based in Leicester. We are seeking a meticulous and highly organised Payroll Administrator to join our client's dynamic team. About the Role

Based in Leicester, this position reports to the Payroll Manager and assists the Accountant in ensuring all payroll demands are being undertaken efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Payroll Associate for UK payrolls
  • Work closely with and efficiently process payroll through an outsourced UK payroll vendor
  • Collect and validate payroll inputs, including overtime and various deductions
  • Collate and submit monthly payroll data to the outsourced UK payroll vendor
  • Lead workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Review and analyse reports received from the payroll vendor
  • Maintain compliance with regulations, and lead the design and implementation of process improvements
  • Collaborate with the payroll vendor and service providers to ensure high-quality service
  • Partner with finance teams for reconciliation of payroll-related General Ledger accounts
  • Administer quarterly reporting for P46 (CARS) to HMRC
  • Administer annual P11D & PSA activities and reporting
  • Manage payroll tax activities and send Employer tax amounts to the in-house tax team
  • Provide monthly pension reports and make pension payments to the pension provider
  • Provide cover for the Payroll Manager when required
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in payroll
  • Authority in compliance and regulations for payroll operations
  • Working knowledge of payroll, tax, and regulatory laws in the UK (Ireland would be advantageous)
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in ADP (payroll) & Oracle Cloud (HCM) is an advantage
