Payroll Associate - £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus - City of London

Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading name within financial services on the recruitment of a Payroll Associate to join on a permanent basis.

Our client is offering hybrid working (2/3 days per week required into the office)

• Collate monthly payroll data and provide it to the payroll vendor via a secure online portal.
• Review and reconcile payroll output, collaborate with the payroll vendor to correct discrepancies, and approve the payroll once satisfied with the results.
• Prepare and provide appropriate reports for review and sign-off by the Payroll Manager.
• Ensure all relevant deadlines are met and that payments are reconciled and made on time.
• Collaborate with the wider payroll team and other internal/external stakeholders to streamline processes.
• Provide quality and timely customer service to employees and other stakeholders across all UK businesses.
• Assist with post-payroll administration tasks.
• Prepare month-end journals and monitor the SAP GL interface process.
• Monitor the HR system (Workday) to Payroll (CloudPay) interface.
• Share responsibility for maintaining the team mailbox and responding to queries in a timely manner.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as required.

Skills & Experience required:

• Strong Uk payroll exposure
• Solid Excel knowledge
