Role: Payroll & Benefits Assistant

Industry: Commercial Property

Location: Central London

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 - experience dependent

I am working with a rapidly expanding Commercial Property business who are looking for their first Payroll and Benefits Assistant to join their HR team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong payroll experience to step into a standalone role and be involved in not just the day-to-day, but also a future implementation project.

Duties will include:

  • Prepare and run monthly payroll support across the entire business, UK and Ireland
  • Ensuring the collection of timesheets are received on time from each site and are correct across the board
  • Managing overtime payments and ensuring they are inputted and processed accurately
  • Ensuring starters, leavers and holiday pay is all calculated and inputted correctly
  • Assisting with the calculation of maternity, paternity and holiday figures
  • Liaising with the company finance team to ensure timely payments are made on a monthly basis
  • Stay updated and knowledgeable with payroll regulations, tax laws and compliance requirements
  • Administer and update the various benefits platforms and assist employees with auto enrolment queries

They are a people-centric business with a leadership team who pride themselves on putting employees first. Culture is everything to them so you must be looking to be part of something just like this.

This role requires 1-2 days in the office near Oxford Circus. You will report directly into the People Director and be open to getting involved in future HR and benefits administration to support the wider team as the business evolves.
