Payroll Clerk - LE9
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to work as part of a small structured team working in a relaxed environment completing payroll for around 3500 people per month and you will be working in LE9
As the Payroll Clerk you would be responsible for administering the payroll function for the company and to Support the finance department to meet deadlines and to ensure all transactions are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
As the Payroll Administrator Clerk your duties would include
Ensure the monthly, bi weekly and 4 weekly payroll is submitted on time and checked .
Collate and review payroll submissions from HR and managers
Complete the submission preparation spreadsheets
Ensure payments are processed for Monthly pay, Pensions and other payroll payments.
Check final reports before committing payroll.
Prepare and post the payroll journal.
Reconcile the payroll control accounts.
Prepare and post the bonus accrual journal.
Prepare and manage the absence trackers.
Liaise with HR to complete the P11D returns
Support the HR department on payroll matters.
Liaise with HR and the payroll bureau to resolve any queries.
Support and work closely with the assistant accountant as required and directed by the plant controller.
Support the year end close and Audit for payroll matters.
