Page Personnel are currently partnering with a reputable Accountancy Practice, based in Birkenhead, who are looking for a Payroll Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for running payrolls for multiple clients

Description

The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for:

  • Setting up client payrolls
  • Manage payroll processes on behalf of clients and ensure accurate calculations of wages, deductions and benefits.
  • CIS
  • Auto Enrolment Pensions
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and guidelines.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions.
  • Use payroll software with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest changes in payroll laws and regulations.

Profile

The successful Payroll Clerk should have:

  • A proven track record within a similar role
  • Proficiency in payroll software.
  • Strong knowledge in payroll processes and tax regulations.
  • Excellent numerical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to resolve payroll queries.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
