Are you a Payroll Coordinator looking for the next step up in your career, ready for personal development with an ambitious company that is happy to support you?

The role is available due to the growth of the company. The payroll was previously run from the London office. Due to the success of the Darlington finance team, they have brought the role to Teesside.

You'll be part of this exciting journey as they grow this new division, you will roll out new systems and in time you could manage a payroll administrator as the team is expected to continue to grow.

Everyone interacts and supports each other in a modern, open-plan office where no one is above a laugh from time to time.

You will have the option to work from home one day a week if you wish to, once you are fully trained this will be up to you!

And you'll get some flexibility on your start and finish times, meaning you can make time for the school run or that exercise class

You will have proven experience in a similar role processing end-to-end payroll. You'll be confident with processing monthly salaries, calculating deductions on SSP, maternity and paternity, along with overtime payments, P11D, PSA and PAYE settlement data for UK submissions for year-end tax reporting.

You will also assist the other Payroll Coordinator with processing their payroll as and when needed, covering holidays or simply just workload.

You will have advanced knowledge of Excel, and perhaps you have experience with Sage, however, this is desirable and not essential.
