Payroll Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Management Accountant to join a leading service provider in their sector. This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 and is based in Potters Bar. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic finance team, working across the entire business to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the company's financial position.

What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, you will play an integral role within their finance department, working closely with the Group Management Accounts Team. Your primary responsibility will be to support the team in ensuring that the monthly financial position is accurately reported. You will be involved in calculating various month-end accruals across the group, preparing and posting staff costs journals and reconciling key balance sheet accounts. Your strong organisational skills will be crucial in maintaining clear records and schedules. Furthermore, your ability to liaise effectively with divisional finance leads will ensure costs are accurately reflected.

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant role will bring a wealth of experience and skills. You should have excellent system skills, including proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level. A strong understanding of payroll processes is essential, along with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
