£200per day – 37.5 hours per week – On going contract
  
Location – (SM4 5QX) This post may involve travel between Kingston, Carshalton, Merton and South Thames Colleges.  This post will dictate a combination of homeworking and onsite attendance. Onsite attendance will predominantly be at Merton College.

The Role
  
The post holder will support the operational management and delivery of the payroll services for the Group, ensuring that each stage of the payroll is appropriately administered, and that accurate and timely payroll transactions are processed for staff. He/she will also work with the Head of Payroll Services to develop payroll and system reporting capacity in response to the needs identified by each organisation.
  
Reports to - Head of Payroll Services
Responsible for - Payroll Officers
 
General Duties of the Post:
 
  • To keep up-to-date with QA initiatives and to develop and meet service standards for the area of work.
  • To participate in the Professional Development Programme and undertake training as required including all relevant areas of technology.
  • To propose any ideas which may help to promote and extend the Group's reputation and efficient running of the Group.
  • To work safely, consider the safety of others and work within the guidelines stated in the Group Health and Safety Policy
  • Undertake other duties as may be required by the Group Leadership Team or their representatives, in order to ensure the efficient functioning of the Group.
  • To contribute to and implement the commitment to Equal Opportunities made by the Group and the other organisations within the Group.
