Our client is currently recruiting a new payroll manager to join their finance team. This company continues to experience substantial growth as they are one of the largest independent companies within their field. A specialist in their field, they have, since 2020, have been growing exponentially and will continue to grow for the foreseeable future. Your new role
In this role, you will take charge of the payroll and pension process at this growing organisation.

Key duties include:
* Maintaining the payroll system so that wage rates and hours are up-to-date.* Managing the holiday allocation within the payroll system.
* Processing new starters, inputting hours worked into Sage Payroll, overtime, and expense claims.
* Calculation of statutory payments and attachment of earnings.
* Completing all RTI submissions to HMRC.
* Utilising the Bacs system for payment of net salaries and PAYE/NIC.
* Maintaining pension records and uploading monthly files and payments to the NEST and Scottish Widows and People's Pensions.
* Preparing and sending out payslips, P45's, P60's
* Dealing with payroll queries and running reports as required by auditors and line management

This is a 100% office-based role. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5.30pm

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have strong communication skills - both written and verbal. As well as previous experience working end to end payroll process of unto 500 people. You'll also have the confidence to build relationships both internally and externally with a variety of stakeholders.
