Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a construction business in the Warrington area who are recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for man management, hands on payroll and future planning for the team.

Key Duties/Tasks:

  • Man management including one to ones
  • Hands on end to end payroll
  • Trouble shooting for current issues & areas of development
  • Looking at function of the team, team set up and requirements
  • Providing reports and advice
  • Producing reports for senior management

Desirable skills and attributes:

  • Payroll experience as a Payroll Manager
  • Shared service knowledge
  • Full and comprehensive understanding of payroll function
  • Experience of collaborating with different departments and stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
  • Experience of Automation, continuous improvement, process implementation
