Payroll Officer
We have an exciting role available for a dynamic and forward thinking Payroll Officer to join BES Utilities at our offices in Fleetwood.
The Payroll Officer is a key role within the Central Finance Department. Within this position you will have responsibility for all payroll's across a number of expanding businesses, providing support to the wider group.
You will ensure that a high quality, customer focused service is delivered to the business and to employees.
Role and Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Preparation of monthly payrolls
- Processing payments
- Monthly payroll reporting including headcount movements and overtime
- Processing manual, pay adjustments.
- Assisting with current payroll projects to improve the current payroll processes
Knowledge and skills:
- Full payroll knowledge of employee status, PAYE, NI, Pensions
- Understanding of payroll in a variety of Small / Medium sized owner managed businesses and preferably experience in a larger corporate style business
- Self-starter, comfortable working under own direction and within the team
