Our client, an established firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking a Payroll Officer to join their busy team in Portsmouth.

The role will involve managing the payroll function, dealing with the full payroll process and auto-enrolment compliance. You will be responsible for a portfolio of payroll clients, mainly those in the medical profession including GP's and healthcare organisations.

You will also mentor junior team members and review their work.

You will have previous experience of managing payrolls of various frequencies either within practice or in a Payroll Bureau, alongsigde a good understanding of Pensions, PAYE, auto-enrolment and payroll legislation.
