Location: Berkshire - Hybrid
Salary: £65-75,000 + Bonus
JGA are working with a leading payroll bureau who are seeking a Payroll Operations Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the payroll operations for clients, ensuring the smooth running of the payroll process.
This role requires you to be in the office 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage payroll operations for a team, along with setting targets.
• Implement new processes and procedures to ensure efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation
• Monitor and analyse payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Provide support and advice to employees and managers.
• Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems
Technical Skills Required
• Proven experience in a similar role within an Accountancy/ bureau
• Excellent knowledge of payroll legislation and best practice
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Experience of working with payroll systems
