PE Teacher

This secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join a superb department. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality education to our students and will have excellent subject knowledge and teaching skills.

*** PE Teacher
*** Salary: MPS1 – MPS6
*** Location: Stoke-on-Trent
*** Contract: Long-term from September 2024
*** PE through KS3 & KS4

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality Physical Education lessons to secondary school students
  • Creating engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to students and parents
  • Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports teams and clubs
  • Collaborating with other members of the Physical Education department to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and programs
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related field
  • Experience teaching Physical Education at secondary school level
  • Excellent subject knowledge and teaching skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with young people and helping them reach their full potential
